Mint website now available on mobile phones

Livemint.com, the online edition of Mint, which is a business newspaper published by HT Media Ltd. in exclusive partnership with The Wall Street Journal, is now also available on mobile phones.

From crisp round-the-clock business news to updates on markets, corporate news and Mint’s other popular sections on personal finance, gadgets and travel, the mobile edition offers a unique way to stay on top of news even when you’re traveling.

The site has a robust markets section which not only provides information such as top gainers & losers and global & sector-wise indices, but also provides in-depth coverage on equities with intra-day market updates, company results and premium columns from analysts and experts. You can interact with the mobile content by commenting on stories and participating in our daily polls.

In addition to the wide variety of content, when you click on a particular news item, you can read the full story with related images, as opposed to just receiving an abstract or abridged text-only version.

To access the mobile edition of livemint, you simply need to type the URL m.livemint.com in the web browser that is installed in your GPRS enabled phone or SMS ‘livemint’ to 54242. You can also download a shortcut from the WAP site on to the phone, to directly visit the site without typing the address every single time.
