Zync launches India’s First Android 4.0 Tablet for Rs 8,990

Zync, an Apple Group company, on Tuesday launched India’s first tablet running on Google Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, the Zync Z-990. Priced at Rs 8,990, it is the cheapest Android Ice Cream Sandwich tablet in the country and comes in an ultra-portable design featuring realtime multitasking and symmetrical multiprocessing capabilities. The Zync Z-990 tablet comes with add-on practical accessories such as screen guard, pouch and a lycra sleeve apart from the standard USB cable and a charger – all included at a bargain price of Rs 8,990.

The 7-inch Zync Z-990 has a high resolution screen and is powered by a 1.2 Ghz processor. Loaded with a 1GB RAM for excellent performance, the device 4GB in-built memory, which can be expanded to 32 GB. Its size, light weight of 380 gm and excellent battery life make it ideal for long hours of use.

The Zync Z-990 comes with best in class Wi-Fi connectivity, 0.3 MP front camera, full-sized USB port that supports pen drives, external keyboards and 3G USB dongles, HDMI port, and micro USB port.
