ASUS introduces Onsite Service for Notebook and Eee PCs
ASUS India is all set to make Diwali – the festival of lights - brighter and merrier for consumers with the introduction of Onsite Service for the ASUS Notebook and Eee PC range exclusively in India. This service will be offered immediately from November 1, 2010 effectively covering ASUS Notebooks and Eee PC along with accessories like battery, adaptor et al. within the warranty period. Consumers who reside within the 40km radius of the nearest ASUS service center in 54 major Tier I and II cities across India can now avail Onsite Service for no extra charge. With the introduction of this facility, consumers can save valuable time and resources by simply getting an ASUS service engineer to take care of their Notebook and Eee PC servicing needs at the comforts of their homes. Additionally, Diwali will be much more enjoyable for consumers as ASUS will extend the warranty cover of batteries for any Eee PCs brought on or after November 1, 2010 to 1 year from the existing period of 6 months for free!
The introduction of this Onsite Support and Service facility promises to make lives of consumers easier as they just have to call up on the toll free number at 1800-2090-365 and a service engineer will visit their premises within 1 business day. If the system has a genuine hardware issue, then the engineer will revisit the customer with the required spare part and resolve the query. To ensure complete satisfaction, ASUS will proactively call back the customer within a week of call resolution & derive feedback and suggestions thus helping to further streamline the process. In fact consumers can also avail the benefit of extended warranty by up to 2 years if they choose to purchase our WEP service (Warranty Extension Pack) from an ASUS authorized dealer/distributor within 180 days of their purchase of their Notebooks or Eee PC.”
