Callpod launches mobile software application for Smartphones

Posted on 06 February 2009 by Editor

Callpod, an emerging innovator in premium mobile accessories and software applications for professionals, has launched Keeper, its first mobile software application for Smartphones.

Currently available for the iPhone, Keeper allows users to quickly and easily store all sensitive passwords, notes, lists and other personal information in a safe and secure environment. Keeper allows users to fully search, index and protect information with multi-layer encryption. Keeper stores secret passwords and sensitive information on the user’s device (e.g. iPhone, BlackBerry or Google Phone) and backed up on your PC/Mac rather than online keeping valuable information safer. If the user’s Smartphone is lost or stolen, the sensitive information stored in Keeper is protected with 128-bit military-grade AES encryption.

UNPROTECTED IPHONE INFORMATION

There are currently no safeguards in place to protect any information on the iPhone, which makes it an easy target and even a potential way to steal the user’s identity. Keeper is the ideal solution to protect vital information including account numbers, passwords, social security numbers and anything else that users need to protect.

THE SOLUTION IS KEEPER

•    Military-Grade Encryption (128-bit AES)
•    Import/Export/Backup your data
•    Share data between your PC/Mac, multiple iPhones
•    Real-time Search
•    Self Destruct Mode
•    Keeper is stable, secure, fast and extremely easy to use

Currently information entered into the iPhone is not secure and remains unsecure when synced and transferred to the user’s PC or Mac, where is can be easily stolen. By adding military-grade encryption (128-bit AES), Keeper secures the user’s information on both the iPhone and computer. Keeper is the most secure password storage system application available for the iPhone and other mobile devices.

“Today, most professionals use Smartphones for all their mobile business needs,” said Craig Lurey, Callpod’s CTO and Co-founder. “Keeper, a powerful yet intuitive mobile software application that allows users to securely store important passwords and information, is the perfect application for users that want to preserve their vital information.”

Callpod will continue to develop exciting and innovative products in this category that will complement its hardware devices business. Every application that Callpod develops will run on the iPhone, Android/Google, and RIM/BlackBerry and will be supported by both Mac and PC computers.

“Keeper is our first mobile software application launched as part of our expanding corporate strategy to develop and deploy mobile software applications for professionals,” said Darren Guccione, Callpod’s Co-founder and CEO. “We are focused on creating value in the business productivity and enhancement category for Smartphones, Macs and PCs with software applications like Keeper.”

The beta version of Keeper was launched on the iTunes platform and has already become the most frequently downloaded password storage system on the iPhone. Keeper is currently ranked #7 in the Business utilities category on iTunes for iPhone.

Keeper is available for download on iTunes for $4.99. For more information please visit www.callpod.com/keeper.
