Samsung Telecommunications America (Samsung Mobile) has been honored with 15 International CES Innovations Design and Engineering Awards. Among wireless distributors, Samsung has won the most innovation honoree awards at the 2009 International CES.
In the wireless handset accessories category, the Samsung MBP200 Pico Projector was named the Best of Innovations, which is awarded to the most highly honored products in each category. In addition to the MBP200, six of Samsung’s Bluetooth headsets were awarded as honorees, including the WEP700, an ultra-sleek headset with dual microphone noise cancellation and auto volume control; the SBH650 and SBH900, pendant-styled stereo Bluetooth devices; the Capella, a unique approach to a Bluetooth headset with high-fidelity music streaming functionality; the WEP850, a dual microphone, noise cancelling headset with pearl coat finish and crystal earhook; and the WEP900, a unique headset with noise cancellation and ability to stream music that’s designed to wear behind the ear for a more comfortable and secure fit.

Eight of Samsung’s innovative handsets received Design and Engineering Honorees in the wireless handsets category, more than any other wireless distributor in 2009.
