This launch signifies our commitment to be a leading mobile company.”

With the launch of Shine, LG India will now aim to be amongst the top 3 premium handsets in India and increase their GSM market share to 3.41 % by first quarter of 2008.”
Flaunted by the likes of Madonna, Pierce Brosnan and Kelly Osborne, Shine – a stunning, full-metal bodied super-slim handset is designed with a sophisticated, yet highly trendy ‘Styled in Metal’ concept and has a look and feel totally dissimilar to any previous handset, offering mobile users the best of both worlds with amazing looks and a high technical specification. When closed, Shine oozes sophistication with a perfectly reflective 2.2” wide mirror LCD screen magically transforms into a high-quality colour screen when the phone is activated, while Shine’s keys are bathed in a cool blue light.
The super slim( 13.8mm Shine Slider and 9.9mm Shine bar) and sleek design defies its high-tech functionality which includes a 2 mega-pixel auto focus camera by Schneider Kreuznach and expandable memory (Micro SD card) Access to Shine’s menu system is by an easy-to-use multi-function scroll key. Shine is also equipped with a comprehensive media player with multi-codec support (MP3, WAV and ACC++) and real spectrum display. Shine supports GPRS and EDGE network compatibility, Bluetooth and USB connectivity and the most unique thing is it is all controlled by a Multi Function Scroll Key.
Already available in Korea, Shine has sold over 3 millions units globally since its launch. LG expects the same level of excitement and sales in India following a high profile launch campaign.
