IFA 2007: Samsung launches camcorders too!

Samsung’s new line up consists of the VP-HMX10C, VP-MX10A and VP-DX10, providing consumers with a wide range of easy-to-use, high-performance features and stunning designs. Samsung’s advanced Flash Memory technology provides a lot of user benefitssuch as longer battery life and QuickStart in 3 second. They also offer the new iCheck button providing status information on remaining battery time and memory capacity.
Also Samsung’s entire new camcorders were designed with the consumer in mind enough to place neighbor to TV and PC, not in the closet. They are compact enough to fit in the palm, easy to use with innovative touch screens. Each camcorder has been carefully designed to fit comfortably into the user’s hand without sacrificing style. The unique Swivel grip – able to rotate an amazing 135 degrees – provides an easy way for consumers not only to hold the camcorder but also to shoot video at very low or high angles.
Samsung’s first HD camcorder, the VP-HMX10C, is the compact HD camcorder. It delivers amazing HD picture quality resolution easily viewed on the 2.7-inch high-resolution touch panel LCD screen. Samsung’s 50 fps Progressive technology enables the VP-HMX10C to capture exceptionally detailed videos, recording to 8 GB of internal flash memory(2HRs recording), working in H. 264 at 720p or SD/SDHC/MMC+ cards that extend more recording capacity. Samsung’s new camcorder also boasts 10x optical zoom and 20x digital zoom, with a battery life of 90 minutes.
The Samsung VP-MX10A provides top-of-the-line functionality for great value. With approximately the same sleek, compact body design as the VP-HMX10C. The VP-MX10A records to SD/SDHC/MMC+ cards or 4 GB of built-in flash memory. It also includes 3D Noise Reduction Filter technology, allowing it to produce realistic, vivid images. The Hyper Image Stabilizer feature, along with the compact palm size of the camcorder, help stabilize any hand movements during recording. The zoom extends to 34x optical with a 2-hour rechargeable battery.
Samsung’s new VP-DX10 is a hybrid DVD-flash memory camcorder, combining 4 GB (1 hour recording) internal capacity, Quick Start functionality and DVD-burning capabilities, enabling users to burn video files directly onto a DVD at the push of a button. The zoom extends to 26x optical and features the same touch screen technology as the VP-HMX10C. By adopting 3D Noise Reduction Filter technology and Hyper Image Stabilizer functionality, the VP-DX10 creates realistic, high-quality images, offering an effective image stabilizer tool to offset unwanted hand movements during recording. This innovative new camcorder is also capable of transferring footage from flash memory to DVD utilizing the device’s own battery power, without the need for a hardwire power connection. It also offers PC compatibility, which gives users greater ability for UCC creation.

The VP-HMX10C, VP-MX10A, and VP-DX10 will be available in the 3rd quarter of 2007.
