WorldMate Live for BlackBerry announced

MobiMate announced the launch of WorldMate Live, an automated service providing frequent fliers with up-to-date flight status and other useful information in real-time on their mobile phones. Available August 2nd, 2007 for open beta on Blackberry devices, the software and Web-based solution performs as a personal travel assistant, providing customized flight-update alerts, schedules and itinerary, meeting notifications, maps, directions and more.

Programmed to automatically compile and synchronize information from Microsoft Outlook™, WorldMate Live integrates with calendars and email, as well as dozens of Internet sources, pushing data to travelers’ Blackberry devices. The application empowers on-the-go professionals and leisure commuters with the most accurate, up-to-the-minute trip details. From flight details, airlines and departure/arrival times, to rental car details, hotel and meeting information, local time and weather, WorldMate Live serves as the premier resource for travelers, providing information enabling them to easily manage their hectic schedules.
