Motorola launches Motoming A1600 in India

Mobile manufacturer Motorola has launched Motoming A1600 in India. The newly launched handset is available at a best buy price of Rs 14,599 at Motostore, Motostore Lite and other retail stores while the handset’s Maximum Retail Price (MRP) is Rs 15,847.

The handset offers features for cricket fans. For example, consumers can learn cricketing strokes from former Indian captain Krish Srikkanth, download free video batting tips of more strokes and keep track of live cricket matches with live text commentary, partnership charts, and wagon wheel. The handset also contains three full-fledged cricket games, access to Cricket Masala and downloadable cricket wallpapers.

Says Motorola Mobile Devices senior director and head of sales and distribution, India and South West Asia Lloyd Mathias, “Motoming A1600, our first GPS-enabled mobile phone in India, is powered with next-generation features and applications in an extremely attractive design. Our GPS navigation service is free with no activation charges, independent of mobile networks and can be used even without inserting the SIM card. Motoming A1600 allows the Indian consumer access to 540,000 unique destinations and 400,000 points of interest, lifetime free voice- guided, turn-by-turn navigation across 30 major cities and national and state highways. We have ensured that all major cities in the country are a part of this unique service.
