Pivot3 Inc, the inventor of high-definition storage based on distributed RAID, will exhibit and demonstrate its high-definition video storage solution at the 114th Annual IACP Conference and Exposition, the law enforcement education and technology exposition, in New Orleans, La., October 13-17, 2007. The Pivot3 product demonstrations will take place at booth #4717 along with partner solutions from Insight Video Net, Petards, and Lenel, showing the interoperability, ease of use, increased scalability and high performance of high-definition video storage solutions in today’s multi-vendor physical security environments.
“We are here to share our recent experiences and success stories in public safety with the show attendees,” said Jeffrey Bell, Pivot3 vice president marketing. “Today’s megapixel, high-definition video surveillance applications can result in increased storage capacity and performance requirements. Some large city police departments in the U.S. are already implementing the latest high-definition video storage from Pivot3 in order to support this growth. The Pivot3 RAIGE™ (RAID Across Independent Gigabit Ethernet) architecture helps organizations store twice the video while supporting up to five times the data streams of traditional high-availability modular storage systems. Also, storage infrastructure costs go down as much as 50 percent while scalability and availability increase.”
