The Sealink iPhone game promotes safe driving

India’s leading Game development company, Spiel Studios partners with Party Hard Drivers (PHD) to promote Don’t Drink & Drive in it’s latest upcoming iPhone 3D game called The Sealink starring India’s engineering marvel, the Mumbai Bandra-Worli Sealink.

The Sealink, will be the first of it’s kind, 3d Racing game on the iPhone, where the player will be able to drive his favourite car on the Mumbai Sea-link. The game has been conceptualized and developed by Spiel Studios with collaborative efforts of their Indian and International team members using the latest and advanced technologies available on the iPhone platform.

Party Hard Drivers, popularly called as PHD, is a unique service that offers night driver service, who would come to your doorstep and drop you back home if you are under the influence of alcohol, hence avoiding any untoward incident and risking yourself and others on the road.

On this event, Mohit Sureka, Founder/CEO of Spiel Studios said “Citing several recent accidents occurring on the Sealink, this is the right platform to send the message and promote safe driving. Drive Rash in Games, Not in Real! By promoting Don’t Drink and Drive through an iPhone game we hope to reach the right audience and create awareness for the same. PHD is a great service for party goers who can enjoy their late-night parties and reach home safely.”

On this association, Ankur Vaid from PHD said “Since the inception of PHD in December 2007, we had this idea and plan to upload a Drinking and Driving game on our website, wherein the game is fun and at the same time explains the perils of Drinking and Driving. We were approached by Mohit and on understanding his concept we agreed at the very first instance and wanted to associate with Spiel to promote safe driving.”

The game is scheduled to release in January 2010 on iPhone and will be distributed through the Apple iTunes store worldwide. It will also be developed for PC/Mac and Sony PSP which will be made available early next year.
